Philosophy
To provide a healthy and safe experience for all children. We’re committed to providing an environment that promotes growth in the areas of emotional, social, physical, cognitive, and language development. We strive to implement a unique learning environment that meets the needs of each child while ensuring to provide opportunities for all children to participate in social play.
What is Montessori Inspired?
It’s a specific child-centered method of education that involves child-led activities. The classroom can vary in ages and teachers encourage independence. Staff watch and observe children’s interests and readiness while providing guidance. Maria Montessori once said:
“If children are naturally curious and capable of learning independently, their abilities to absorb information at different sensitive periods are enhanced when a child is exposed to multiple material options”
We provide students the opportunity to explore the environment at their own pace while encouraging them to be independent. This helps improve confidence and self-esteem; while developing academic skills they’ll be able to use in the next steps of their academic journey.
Health & Safety
Our preschool is a licensed under Manitoba’s Child Care Regulation which ensures the following:

Staff are trained and Certified in Early Childhood Education with a minimum of a ECE-2 designation

Staff are trained and certified in CPR and First-Aid

Passed a Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Check

The facility is subject to an annual Fire Inspection

Has been inspected and approved by a Public Health Inspector
