Montessori-inspired learning
Art
This gives children the opportunity to create open-ended art, to be creative by drawing/painting while expressing their creativity. A pencil crayon can help assist them in identifying each color they use.
Music & Yoga
Instruments for children to explore and sing songs together as a class.
Yoga helps children strengthen their bodies and taches discipline. It helps improve breathing and emotional regulation, it helps connect their mind and body through relaxation.
Reading
Reading through childhood helps stimulate the development of language skills. Having children explore books independently is good for their development. Preschoolers will begin to sound out words on their own through enough exposure to reading.
Language
Language materials helps develop children’s ability to communicate by strengthening their ability through reading, writing and listening skills.
Math & Science
Mathematics materials can help teach children the understanding of number recognition while developing the basic understanding of adding and subtraction. A range of interesting science topics and activities will be explored, which can help build knowledge of scientific concepts.
Sensory & Fine Motor
By helping a child develop and refine their skills, they gain the ability to problem solve on where a material should be placed. This is called “control error” problem solving and is when a child uses problem solving to determine where to place a material in its proper place.
Geography
Practical Life
This encourages kids to discover cultures and explore countries throughout the world.
Practical life teaches children how to care for the space and peers around them. This helps develop fine
motor skills/gross motor skills, and room/body awareness. Children develop the ability to recognize and
respect their peers and their environment.
